WELCOME TO THE 2010 SEASON!
Billericay & District Riding Club is affiliated to the Riding Clubs movement,
whose aims are to encourage riders of all levels in disciplines of horsemanship.
During 2009 the Club fielded many teams, both Junior and Senior. We also sent
our first team to the Riding Clubs Championships at the Royal International
Horse Show at Hickstead. If you are interested in competing for your Club,
please let your Team Manager know so that you can be considered for a team.
Our outdoor Dressage and Show Jumping shows are held at Crays Hill Recreation
Ground, where thanks to the Council’s diligent care, you are unlikely to find
better grass conditions for miles around. Do come along and try our showground
for yourselves.
Our shows are run by a very friendly and accommodating Committee, who will do
their best to ensure that you have an enjoyable day of competition.
So if you have not yet tried one of our shows, please do!
Good luck to you all for 2010, and we wish you a safe and happy competitive
season.
Club members – please remember that we always need help setting up before the
shows (usually the Saturday afternoon beforehand) and clearing away afterwards.
Many hands make light work and your help will be very much appreciated.
